Elisabeth earned her Bachelor's of Sciencefrom Temple University in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education. While going to school, she volunteered her time teaching phonics and social emotional skills to children in the North Philadelphia community. She moved from Philadelphia to Detroit in 2019 after graduating college. She is a current Teach for America corps member and works as a first grade teacher for Detroit Public Schools Community District. Elisabeth is passionate about early literacy and instilling a love of learning in her students.
