Meet the Founder
Tutors CCC was created by Barbara Connolly, JD, CEP. Barbara is the founder of College Choice Counseling, a private college admissions consulting firm. As Barbara worked for over 18 years with countless students on their path to higher education and fantastic careers, she saw a need to provide a 360-degree service that combined top-notch educational and college admissions advising with expert tutoring and specialized consulting.
Through her career as a lawyer, admissions reader, certified educational planner, and parent, Barbara became acquainted with many talented, highly educated, and accomplished people. She naturally reached out to the best among them to assist her clients with school work, admissions advising, and career consulting. In the end, a group of amazing, committed educators and consultants came together to form Tutors CCC.
Barbara is a lawyer, certified educational planner (CEP), a former admissions reader at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and National Association of College Admissions Counseling (NACAC).
Barbara and her husband are the parents of four children, all of whom were admitted to Ivy League and other selective colleges. Barbara's experience as a parent greatly benefits the families with whom she works.
